Variabilidad intragenotípica de Capsicum chinense Jacq. “ají Supano” provenientes de la cuenca baja del río Supe-Barranca

Capsicum chinense “ají supano” is an ecotype typical of the countryside of Supe veryappreciated in the regional cuisine for its aroma and flavor. This ecotype to date hasno studies, so the objective of the present study is to characterize it molecularly toidentify intragenotypic variability of 30 individuals of chili peppers from the lowerSupe river basin using molecular markers ISSR. Fruits were collected from fourfarmers during the month of November, 2016, being the seeds selected randomly,for their establishment in pots in house mesh. DNA was extracted from three youngleaves using the Micro - CTAB method modified by Biotechnology Lab of PIPS inCereals and Native Crops of UNALM to molecular analysis. Primers SSR 22, UCB807, UCB 810 and UCB 841 were selected due their high resolution and banding;which did not detect different bands among the individuals evaluated, confirming thatit is an autogamous ecotype, all the individuals of the population are genetically equal,therefore there is no intragenotypic variabilityCapsicum chinense “ají Supano” es un ecotipo propio de la campiña de Supe muy apreciado en la culinaria regional por su aroma y sabor. Este ecotipo a la fecha carece de estudios, por lo que el objetivo del presente estudio es determinar el patrón molecular para identificar la variabilidad intragenotípica de 30 individuos, usando marcadores moleculares ISSR. Se colectaron frutos provenientes de cuatro agricultores durante el mes de noviembre del 2016, seleccionándose al azar las semillas, para su establecimiento en macetas en casa malla. Se extrajo el ADN de tres hojas jóvenes usando el método Micro – CTAB modificado en el laboratorio de Biotecnología del PIPS en Cereales y Granos Nativos de la UNALM para su análisis molecular. Para la corrida se seleccionó los Primers SSR 22, UCB 807, UCB 810 y UCB 841 por su alta resolución y obtención de bandas; los cuales no detectaron bandas diferentes entre los individuos evaluados confirmando que es un ecotipo autógamo donde todos los individuos de la población son genéticamente iguales, por lo tanto, no existe variabilidad intragenotípic
